7 days “Yolt National park” horseback riding & hiking tour

Arrive in Olgii city. Olgii is a capital city of Bayan-Olgii province. Bayan-Olgii is a far-off land of high mountains, (the Mongol Altai – Tavan Bogd mountains with 4,373 m peak) torrents and glaciers, inhabited by Kazakh, a minority who has a different culture from the Mongols, herding yaks and goats and hunting with trained eagles.
Before we start our journey you can do shopping, we start driving to Altai village, after 4-5 hours we get to the nomadic family. Overnight in nomadic ger.

Today we start horseback riding in the gorgeous “Yolt valley” national park. Yolt valley is a deep valley with tick forest, lots of wild animals, borders with China, pasture for nomadic herders. We hike or horse ride for 5-10 km and overnight in the tent. Everyday journey we complete will be between 5-10 km.

Continue hiking or horse riding. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the valley. We may see some wild animals such as reindeers, wolves, wild birds, marmots, foxes etc.

Last day of riding in valley. Overnight in the tent.

We get to nomadic family and experience their daily life. Overnight in nomadic ger.

We stay with the family for half day. After having lunch with the family, back to Olgii. In Olgii you can go for shopping, visit the “Dostyk hill” where you can see the whole city, in the evening enjoy small concert from local artists.

In the end It is good to have hot shower and do your laundry in your hotel.

In the morning, we drop you off to the airport. Have a nice flight. End of your trip.
